Foundshore stores your account identifier, name and email; the Profile, photos, location and links you choose to add; posts, event participation, direct messages, shared contact details, reports and account preferences. Your public Profile, approved posts and public events are visible to other people. Drafts, direct messages and connection contact details have separate access controls.
We use this information to operate accounts, display content, connect members, run events, save chats and provide safety review and support. Likes, bookmarks, requests and reading markers support those app features. We do not use tracking identifiers or third-party advertising analytics in the app.
Supabase provides authentication, database and media storage. Cloudflare runs the app API. Resend delivers account verification and password reset emails. With your explicit permission, public content and selected photos are sent to OpenAI for safety review. Separately, if you allow Foundshore AI, OpenAI receives your question, relevant earlier chat turns and selected public discovery records. Current-information searches may use OpenAI web search. Private direct messages, shared contacts and unpublished Profiles are not included in discovery searches. Personal information that you put into a question or submitted content is included. Service providers process data to operate these features under their applicable terms.
If you choose Distributor, LinkedIn or X receives the text and media you explicitly publish. Server-side social authorization tokens are encrypted. Disconnecting an account stops future use by Foundshore. Removing a Foundshore account does not remove posts already published on another platform; manage those posts on that platform.
Edit or hide your Profile, remove your own posts, block members and revoke shared contacts in the app. AI sharing can be turned off from the chat options menu. Account data and private AI chats are retained while you use the account. Request permanent deletion under Settings > Delete account: access is disabled and public content is hidden while queued database and media cleanup completes. Limited safety records and anonymous event history may remain where necessary. Unsaved Profile recovery files are stored only on this device for up to seven days, excluded from backups and cleared on sign-out.
Foundshore includes publicly available professional and organization information for investor, accelerator and directory discovery. These records are separate from member accounts. Public professional facts may include names, roles, organization websites, public social handles, professional location and investment focus. Discovery records do not create member identities or access permissions. Contact us to request a correction or removal of a record about you.
With your device permission, we store an App installation identifier and an Apple push token linked to your account to deliver message and Inbox alerts. Apple receives a generic notification, without private message text, names or shared contacts. Disable notifications in iPhone Settings. Sign-out removes this device registration when the service is reachable; inactive registrations expire after seven days and are removed by scheduled cleanup.
The App database is hosted in the United States. Cloudflare, Apple, OpenAI and connected social providers may process information in other locations under their applicable terms. We use access controls, encrypted transport and server-side encryption for social tokens. No security system can guarantee complete protection. Network information supports abuse prevention; the App has no advertising tracking or sale of personal information.
Contact the operator below for privacy questions, access, correction, export or deletion requests, objections to public discovery information, or help with account deletion. We may verify your identity before releasing or changing personal data. We do not penalize you for exercising applicable privacy rights. If a provider or processing location changes, the policy must be updated before that change is introduced.
